Sand Management Services

Non-Intrusive/Acoustic Sand Detection
The non-intrusive ultrasonic detection process utilizes the acoustic noise generated by sand particles to derive a sand production measurement. This technology is based on the fact that the sand, while transported with the flow, impacts the pipe wall due to inertia in pipe bends and creates noise.
Non-intrusive devices like The The PulsarGuard 2001 sand sensor is used together with the iSensys SandAlert monitor or the iSensys SandAlert portable units.
This technology is available in the Portable Units, Wall Mount Units and Rack Mount Units.

Intrusive Sand Detection
Sand production in oil and gas producing wells can cause rapid erosion and wear of top side equipment such as chokes, valves, and flow-lines. The areas that can experience the most severe effects of erosion are immediately downstream of a choke, outer diameters of bends, reducers, misaligned flange joints and pipe T joints. Early detection of erosion is key to prevent serious damage and to prevent safety risks from potential leaks or malfunction of process equipment. The Sand Probe is a sacrificial tube inserted into the flow and can be used as an early warning (safety) device for alerting the operator that a critical metal loss (erosion) has occurred due to the effects of sand or solids erosion in the flow.

Complete Sand Check Operations
Unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs with permeability of 0.5 to 8 darcies are most susceptible to sand production, which may start during the first flow or later when reservoir pressure has fallen or water breaks through. What constitutes an acceptable level of sand production depends on operational constraints like resistance to erosion, separator capacity, ease of sand disposal and the capability of artificial lift equipment to remove sand laden fluid from the well. Deployment of mechanical sand trap equipment will help salvage and optimized sandprone Oil-wells and boost the integrity of the facility.

Desanding & Hydrotesting Services
McLazzy Integrated Services offers a variety of methods for evaluating heat exchanger and condenser tubes. Tube inspections are performed using visual, remote visual, and eddy current techniques. Capabilities include testing and certification of pipe and pressure vessels as well as field testing of flange-to-pipe and flange-to-nozzle welds. With our enhanced tooling, our service technicians can isolate and hydrostatically test plain open end pipe, welded flange-to-pipe, and flange-to-nozzle in minutes.
We also provide a range of pipe and pressure vessel desanding services and to separate sand which is mixed with drilling muds. Desanding services with simple cycloning or double cycloning are available upon request.
Echometer Services

Fluid Level Survey
McLazzy Integrated Services offers one of the best and leading fluid level survey services. A Gas-Gun assembly consisting of a gun and microphone together. The gun generates a pressure pulse, while the microphone converts acoustic pressure pulses into an electrical signal. The gun and microphone are normally supplied together as a unit. This mechanism determines the depth to the Fluid Level by generating an Acoustic Pressure Pulse (or Wave) that travels down the well, reflects off the Fluid Level, and then returns back to surface where it is recorded by a sensitive internal microphone inside the Fluid Level Gun.

Acoustic BHP Services
Eliminate guess work and deploy our services for accurate bottomhole pressure measurements and annular depression test. Evaluate your well performance and easily identify tube casing location.
Corrosion Services

Internal Corrosion and Erosion
McLazzy Integrated Services provides you with corrosion, and erosion monitoring services. Electrical and linear polarization resistance probes, high and low pressure coupon and probe assemblies and complete sand and acoustic solids detection. Ongoing maintenance ensures you are covered to prevent any unexpected shutdowns, ensuring the safety and security of your assets.

Cathodic Protection Supply
Corrosion control is an essential element of asset integrity strategies for all offshore structures. This is valid for both its initial stages and throughout its planned life span. For field life extension projects this becomes essential. McLazzy Integrated Services provides solutions, services, and products for corrosion monitoring and corrosion protection including cathodic installations and surveys.
We are flexible in our project execution and, depending on customer requirements, our scope of supply can range from complete EPC projects to delivery of single components.

Cuprion
The problem of fouling is all too familiar to operators of seawater systems on ships, rigs, oil platforms, power stations and elsewhere. Marine growth, such as molluscs, barnacles, mussels, algae and slime enter the seawater system and find a spot where temperature, nutrients, PH factor and other environmental conditions are right for settling and breeding.
With our electrolytic anti-fouling system, we will help you prevented colonies that quickly develop and result in problems such as turbulence, blocked pipes and impaired heat transfer efficiency not to speak of corrosion of the pipes. Such partially or fully blocked pipes can also lead to dangerous situations, particularly with firefighting equipment.

Anti-corrosion Gel (Polguard Products)
Over the past several years, major oil and gas producers have used Polyguard’s RG-2400or Blue Goo for a variety of their most serious corrosion problems worldwide. McLazzy Integrated Services provides services gained from the experience of successful application of anti-corrosion services.
We also install RG-2400 AK gel, a formulation which can withstand application to pipe with surface temperature up to 250° F (121° C). This formulation can be applied by brush or glove. Fabric helps to keep the gel on the area where it was applied. The gel will not harden or set up over time.

H2Obvious Installation and Maintenance for CUI Mitigation
H2Obvious device is for routine Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) mitigation. It detects the presence of an electrolyte either on the surface of the substrate under an insulated system or within the insulation media. This provides round the clock, long term monitoring and surveillance of the unseen substrate “a great aid in the CUI battle.” When fitted and monitored correctly the technology is a risk and cost reduction device for corrosion under thermal insulation (CUI) and will also detect leaks in pipes and vessels again under thermal insulation.
